A Look INTO TIMBER RIDGE Middle School
Welcome to Timber Ridge Middle
School’s Virtual Step Up Day 2020. The
upcoming slides will take you into a
“Day in the Life” of a Timber Ridge 6th
grader. It only takes a few minutes and
hopefully will answer ANY questions
that you may have. We look forward to
seeing you as new Timberwolves!!
You must have many questions
The Hallways and Lockers:
◦ Are the older students going to be in the halls?
◦ How many minutes do I get to go to another room?
The 6th grade Teachers:
◦ Are they nice?
◦ Do they give a lot of homework?
The Cafeteria:
◦ Do we get to sit with friends?
◦ Is the food good?
The Media Center
◦ Can we go in the library at any time?
We are going to attempt to
do our best to answer the
day-to-day questions in the
following areas of your
school day
Hallways & Lockers-Passing periods are 4 minutes
-Most of your classes are in one main hallway
-Hallways are divided by grade levels
We are all here to HELP
you with whatever you
may need!!
You are NOT
expected to be on
time for every class
during the first few
weeks of school
If you have trouble
opening your locker,
many teachers will
help you. DO NOT
PANIC
HELPFUL HINTS:
Just ASK somebody
if you have any
questions!
You CANNOT
be stuffed
into a locker!!!
There is a
pattern of
how to walk in
the hallways
Lockers
How do you open your hall and PE locker?
STEP 1: Turn the dial three times to the right,
then stop when the first number lines up with
the indicator.
STEP 2: Turn the dial ONE full turn to the left,
passing the first number, and stop when the
second number lines up with the indicator.
STEP 3: Turn the dial to the right and stop
when the third number lines up with the
indicator.
STEP 4: Either pull up on the shackle or pull
the lock down to open the lock.
Tips: • Memorize your locker
combination.• Do not give anyone
your locker combination.
• Always lock your belongings up.

time to change into
