Enhancing brand loyalty through mobile technology – the description
a 3 part workshop titled ‘Enhancing brand loyalty through mobile technology’
where the participants will create a mobile phone app, or even a mobile phone
concept for a brand of their own choice. During the workshops the participants
will create mood boards, personas, scenarios and wireframes. Creating an app
or even a complete phone concept with user needs (and the reasons why they
choose to interact with the brand in the first place) in mind can enforce the
connection between user/focus group and the brand. User Centered Design is
the key word in mobile technology and brand loyalty.
Part One: Introduction, orientation, defining your focus group, creating a
mood board
Part Two: Identifying user needs, creating personas, translating user needs into
requirements, writing scenarios
Part Three: Translating requirements into features, creating step by step
interactions, wireframing
Workshop 2: Workshop on social media communication
Prof. (FH) Mag. Michael Reiner
Professor Business Administration and E-Business Management
IMC Fachhochschule Krems – University of Applied Sciences Krems, Austria
Students will learn how to set up proper Facebook/LinkedIn/Google+ accounts
for a project/company. We will actively use twitter, YouTube, Flickr and other
channels to distribute pictures, videos and news from the event.
Communication will be done at least in English, but we will also try to have
several posts bilingual.
Students need to have interest in social media and communication. There is
only a small need of computer skills.
Workshop 3: Marketing in Virtual Worlds
Prof. Dr. Christian Reimann
FH Dortmund, Germany
Currently the market for gaming hardware experiences a new wave of virtual
reality gear, which is for the first time available for prices suitable for a
consumer market. On the other hand companies are combining more and more
gaming aspects in their marketing campaigns, whether it is for example only
product placement in a game or whole games specifically created for marketing
campaigns.
In this workshop the students will be creating a "brand experience" in a virtual
world, starting from own concept up to finally implementing it. As this activity
requires very different skillsets (from marketing, design and computer science)
students of all study topics are equally welcome to join the team.
Max amount of students 14.
