Welcome Back! Our teachers, staff, and principal are ready to make this the best year for the students and families at Westview Elementary. We encourage and invite you to be a huge part of your student’s educational experience. We look forward to working with our students and you as we begin the 2015-16 school year.
Safety First! School rules, bus rules, and student drop off and pick up procedures are in place for the safety of our students. Thank you for reviewing the Student Handbook with your child.
Good Kid Bucks! Good Kid Bucks are awarded to Westview students for working hard, doing homework, and displaying great behavior. Students look forward to Good Kid Bucks Drawings on Fridays when being awesome pays off!
PTO: Westview’s PTO has new officers. Kim Parana is the president, Erikka Marcum is the vice-president, Kathi Wilson is the treasurer, and Julie Stapleton is the secretary. Please join PTO and help with fund-raisers and school events. “Helping Hands” is our main fundraiser this year. Please, gives us a hand and sponsor a student. Our students appreciate your help with the special extras that PTO provides. PTO meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month. Workers are needed to help with the Apple Festival float and booth. Please, attend the meetings and get involved.
Changes at Westview: Mrs. Alicia Sheppard will be teaching Grade 4 Math. Mrs. Christy Smith will be teaching Grade 4 Social Studies and Science. Mr. Shawn Murray will be teaching Grade 4 Language Arts.
