Estimate of tourist consumption with non-traditional sources of information: booking.com; airbnb; journalistic notes; newsletters of hotels and tourism associations; etc.

Not all transactions from thevisitors or consumers arepurchased in cash, because ofthat, this data has to berelated to other studies, suchthe visitors profile surveys oropinions of experts in thefield of tourism behavior, withthe condition that theseopinions can be validatedthrough best practices1.

• In order to take full advantage of the TSA-Mexico data, it is necessary to be attentive to the changing environment of data and consider the opinions of researchers who perform similar exercises in other fields
