Using Snap Camera in Google Meet Sessions

1. Install Snap Camera on Personal Computer https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/

2. Restart entire computer

3. Open Snap Camera

4. Search for appropriate filters Consider:

● Animals● Food● Hats● Glasses● Shapes (stars, fireworks, hearts, etc)

5. Favorite your desired filtersHover over filter and select the star icon in upper left

6. Open “Favorites” tab1. Click the star in upper left of the screen next to the

camera (which you’ll see yourself in)2. All of your favorited filters will appear. Shrink this

screen so it is half of your computer screen.

7. Open Google Meet in new windowShrink to half of your computer screen and position right next to your Snap Camera window.

8. Change settings to utilize Snap Camera

Select “settings”

Select the “video” tabClick the dropdown for “camera” and select “Snap Camera”

9. Join your Google Meet session

10. Change filters during Google Meet session1. Click on your favorited filters during your session! You

can elicit lots of language with challenging students this way.

2. To remove a filter, simply select it again (it is highlighted in blue when selected and not highlighted when removed)
