Next I download a brick brush effect from ‘brushking’ which is a free Photoshop brush downloading site. I will use this to build up the castle within the image.
I built a type of tower sing the brick brush tool I had downloaded
I added layers to build up the brick image as the bricks on their own were quite transparent
Next I created a 3D effect through using different shades of paint, changing the opacity to add shadows and highlights.
Next I added in squares to the top of the castle walls using the brick paintbrush tool.
Next I began to add décor to the castle, using different a brush opacity for each layer to make the décor look 3D
Next I changed the opacity down on the eraser tool and erased the door slightly so it didn’t stand out too much.
Using another brick brush tool I added in windows to the towers.
I erased the door a little more as I felt is was still too bold against the castle
