The Veterinary Medicine Regulations 2013, The Welfare of Farmed Animals Statutory Management Requirements (SMR 13) & Food & Feed Law (SMR 4) require that the administration records must, as a minimum include the use of the following (including medicines with zero withdrawal periods): all vaccines, antibiotics, anthelmintics, anesthetic and pain relief, and in feed & in water medication. Good practice is to include any homeopathathic remedies (including those with zero withdrawal).Please note that legally, the vet, when administering medicines must leave a record which must be recorded in the Veterinary Medicines Administration records.The records must be kept for a minimum of 5 years.
