GRADUATE NURSE PROGRAM

2 Intakes January March

Intakes 7 weeks apart(1st or 2nd intake is negotiated at interview)

8 positions in the Acute GNP 2 positions in the Aged Care Program

and high levels of care, using an “aging in place” model. Situated in Trafalgar

Cooinda Lodge 60 bed high care Co-located at Warragul

Aim of the Aged Care Program

To support newly registered nurses aiming to pursue a career in the specialised field of Gerontics

Low Care: To develop an appreciation of well, aged people in a supported setting

High Care: This placement offers the experience of caring for people who are debilitated by advanced age (with or without a disease process)
