Part I: How to Create a Storybird

What’s Your Storybird? Write a Children’s

StoryHave It Published!!

1)Go to www.storybird.com and select “Sign up”.

2) Select either Regular user or Kid (under 13) user. Create Username, Password, and select “Create your Account”.

3) Next you will need to go to your email address to confirm your account. The email will contain a link, which will bring you back to Storybird already logged in.

4) The link sent in the email will bring you to this page. Select “Jump in!” to start creating your book.

5) The first step is to select an artist. We’ll select “Hierarchy of Music” by andymcnally.

6) Here we get a chance to see some of his artwork. Select “Start a Storybird”.

7) This is the storymaker. Drag illustrations onto the canvas, & then write the story in the text boxes. You can add additional pages at the bottom.

8) When you’re finished, select “Menu” & then “Publish this Storybird…”

9) Before publishing you can write a short summary of the book and select appropriate age range. Make sure to set the story to “public”. Then select “Publish”.

10)You have now finished and published a Storybird!
