This message was given to a group of people in history who were in a very bad situation.
It looked like there was no hope for them. However, God kept his word and the Jews
were set free from their bad situation. This a real event that happened in history. God
does not lie. It may look hopeless now, but situations do change.

Snorts, silence, snickers, and more.
And my feet trying desperately to reach the door. A blurry daze,
a freaking page...
Of a kiss, a peek, a display in a secret place.
He told. I run.
Guffaws, giggles, grins galore.
Mind is racing to the place of no more.
Maybe death? My last breath.
An injured wrist?
Can mom's pills rescue me from this?
If I close my eyes forever, some say it's really clever.
I don't know-will it end the torment?
After all, my life is more than one moment.
There will be others who will take the lure.
Our lives... past, present, future.
So many girls before me who did not endure.
For all of us I speak as the outcast of the week.
I take on this Cause...
A long breath...a pause,
There's been a breach, a tear,
A leak, perhaps a reason to care?

I speak today,
Words of creation with a little hesitation.
So a mistake becomes a step,
One at a time, life's little prep.
Giggles, snickers, guffaws, silent snorts.
That chair is mine- a mini court.
He told. That's bold.
But I speak.
Ma, the others trying to see who lied.
I cried, and stuttered, but I never died.
One bad decision does not define,
I not only faced.
But defied!
I am the girl who speaks
when its hard and I'm feeling weak.
No one is allowed to hurt me, or steal my life.
Like caged birds, or meat under a knife.
Snorts, snickers, guffaws, and giggles.
Silence.
She speaks and takes down the giant.

We have all done things we wished we had not done. We have
all been betrayed, talked about, laughed at, and embarrassed at
some point in life. Trust me when I say that life is not over
when these things happen. Those moments pass and beautiful
opportunities and people eventually cross our paths.
Remember that even during these crappy times, you are not
alone. It may feel like it, but is it definitely not true. You
are loved. You are special. Sometimes it may look really bad,
but remember one of your greatest weapons is your voice. It is a
gift given by God that may be packaged as a song, a dance, a
poem, an essay, or anything else that defines your voice. Speak
and you will be heard. Help is there.
The amazing thing is that as you speak out, you not only
help yourself but others who are in the same situation. I
remember when I was really young and a neighbor did something
really mean to me. He told me not to tell, but I did. My parents
helped me and we were able to prevent what happened to me from
happening to other kids. What would have happened if I never

spoke up? Speak up. If one person won’t hear you, keep talking
until you get to the right person.
