1 Find the one in the music • 1 to 8• 4 blocks of 8 = 32 count blocks

Creative task• Create 1 move per type of rhythm • Perform ideas as a group for 32 counts• Try cueing each other each time you change move on the BIG 1

Creative task:
• Using the principles of dance create a Sports themed block of choreography for KS3 pupils
• Create a simple themed dance keeping your movements on the beat and in blocks of 8
Teaching Methods 1. Adding On Method This works brilliantly when teaching moves in a set order
2. Circuits methodThis works well when practicing a new theme or when you want to them to create their own moves (e.g. Sports)
3. A few structured moves followed by a creative task Using up to 3 moves the children then create their own order and choose how long to perform each move for
