EVENT OF THE YEAROne Night for One Drop is an annual philanthropic event in which Cirque du Soleil’s cast and crew donate their talent and time to create a unique and breathtaking theatrical spectacle for one night only in support of One Drop, an international non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to safe water.

In 2018, we will be celebrating the 6th edition at the Michael Jackson ONE Theatre at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

This new edition of One Night for One Drop is inspired by pivotal moments in the life of GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter Jewel. The production will take the audience through significant events and make them relatable by constructing them around common themes such as family, love, betrayal and the courage to forgive, all while featuring breathtaking performers from Cirque du Soleil—as well as a variety of comedic elements, of course!

foundation created in 2007 by Cirque du Soleil’s founder Guy Laliberté.

At the core of our mission is access to safe water as a transformative force to improve

the living conditions of some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

With the objective of delivering long-term impact and sustainability, we bring into all of our projects

a unique Social Art for Behavior Change approach that aims at engaging communities

in taking ownership and embracing adequate behaviors towards water,

sanitation and hygiene.

One Drop has partnered with the Las Vegas Springs Preserve by donating $1.25M to develop the WaterWorks exhibit, which opened in September 2017, to further develop innovative educational programming in Nevada. One Drop is committed to collaborating on water issues with various local organizations, and to creating

new partnerships for 2018 and beyond.
