An explosion box as apresent with money andchocolateDecorate an explosion box with design paper,handmade paper, deco foil and stickers. Youmay use the box for money gifts with smallchocolates, letters or photos.

1Trim various sheets of paper to attachonto the inside of the explosion box.

2Punch out a flower wreath and vinesfrom, for example, gold design paper.

3Cut a piece of handmade paper to fit thelid and attach the very thin handmadepaper onto the lid using a glue stick.

4Attach small blobs of glue onto thewreath with a glue pen. The glue sticksthe best when it changes from blue totransparent before attaching the paperwreath onto the lid.

5Attach various pieces of paper layeredonto the fronts inside the explosion boxusing double-sided adhesive tape. Thestriped strip of paper in the photo isattached only at the sides, so that a pieceof card can be inserted behind the strip(see step 8).

6Cut out your chosen design from the gluefoil sheet and carefully remove the thinprotective plastic layer from the back.Transfer the glue foil design onto one ofthe decorative parts or inlays suppliedwith the box by rubbing across it with abone folder. Remove the other protectiveplastic layer, exposing the glue design.

7Place a piece of deco foil on top of theexposed glue design and rub across thedesign with a finger, then pull off thedeco foil sheet.

8Insert the decorated card into thedecoration mentioned earlier (behind thestrip) and attach the assembleddecoration onto one of the fronts insidethe explosion box.

9Decorate the supplied decorative itemsand inlays using different techniques.Here we have decorated with designpaper, stickers with text and details madewith deco foil.

10Also use the back of the handmadepaper as a part of the beautifuldecorations.

11Attach a piece of paper to the bottom ofthe decorative component that looks likea medieval coin purse. Place coins in thepurse and decorate the outside flaps withstickers.

12Decorate the other decorativecomponents and inlays and place banknotes, photos or other things inside.

13The explosion box with all the decoratedcomponents and inlays.

14Place the decorated components andinlays inside the pockets. Place lettersand photos etc. inside the pockets. Thesmall box in the middle is ideal forchocolates.

15Close the explosion box with all itscontents, put on the lid and tie a ribbonaround the box.
