Ikhfaa

The noon Sakin has the letter Taa

The Tanween has the letter Kaaf

When doing Ikhfaa your tongue slightly touches the top part of your mouth (palate) try it! That’s the way of pronouncing Ghunna and Ikhfaa.

In Ghunna your tongue touches�ÀUPO\�Zhilst in Ikhfaa it only toches slightly.

If after Noon Saakin or Tanween any one of the following letters come then a light sound will be made from the nose

Makharij

The letter » is produced when the edge of the thanaya ‘ulya touches the bottom lip

²���±���´�are pronounced by the tip of the tongue touching the edge of the WKDQD\D�VXÁD�DQG�slightly touches the edge of thanaya ‘ulya

¼ is pronounced by the bottom of the tongue touching the soft palate

½ is pronounced when the back end of the tongue touches the palate a little towards the mouth

µ is pronounced when the back end of the tongue touches the gums of the upper back teeth

ª���¯���·�are pronounced when the tip of the tongue touches the edge of the thanaya ‘ulya

Ä���³���«� are pronounced when the middle of the tongue touches the middle of the palate

pronounced when the side of the tongue touches the gums of the thanaya ‘ulya, ruba’ee, anyaab and dhawahik
