What I used to analyse my results.

• To analyse my results I used survey monkey.• I used survey monkey because it is a fast and easy way for

people to fill out the survey and is also fast for me to collect the answers.

• I left most of the questions as an open question because I wanted my data to be qualitative data so that I can get the answers back in more detail.

Are you male or female?The amount of people that responded to my survey was 19 people. 6 out of 19 was boys and 13 out of 19 was girls.

This question is relevant to the magazine I am going to make because it lets me know that there would be more girls reading the magazine and when I am making the magazine I would make it more aimed at girls.

How old are you?

There were 10 16year olds, 8 17year olds and 1 18year old that answered my survey.

Due to there being much more 16 and 17 year olds who answered the survey the magazine will be aimed at them, a young age group. However this will make it easy for me because I am 17 so I already have an idea of what people like and listen to.

Do you read music magazines?This question is very relevant because if they did read magazines they would know what to expect and the whole point of one.#

However no one out of the 19 people have read a music magazine and for some of them, they had no clue what a music magazine was until I showed them one.

If yes what do you like about them?

If they did read magazines this question would have benefitted the magazine that I am going to make however none of them have read a music magazine, so this question has no contribution to the magazine that I will be making.

• I left this question as an open question because I wanted to get more of their point of view instead of them picking options that I put there. This gives me more of idea of what they like.

• People wrote things such as:• Seeing their favourite artist on the front cover.• The colours.• Making the price of the magazine cheap.• Having the top 10 songs in the magazine.• Offers on music apps• Bold headlines.

• This question has a big impact on what I will be putting in my magazine because knowing what they like and putting it in their will make them buy it.

• People wrote things such as:• Charts• New music • The latest information on celebrities• Best selling albums• Pictures• Good places to buy and find music

• Knowing what type of music people listen to will help because I will base my magazine around that genre.

• The main types of music that people choose was Rap and Hip Hop. This means that my magazine will have load of music and information based on that.

• After rap and hip hop was R&B and bashment. Due to this I will include it in the magazine but it will not be included as much as rap and hip hop.

• I also left this question as an open question because I want to know what they like so instead of given them a small choose I left it open so that it was more of their opinion.

How often do you listen to music?

Due to the fact that my target audience listens to music everyday, my magazine has to be super up to date since they already know most of the things that is actually going on.I would have to do loads of research and actually find out things that they may not know.I would also have to make sure that I have the most up to date music charts in my magazine.

How often do you read music magazines?So only one person out of all the people who answered my questionnaire read a music magazine every now and then. Also when people came across this question they asked me what is a music magazine?This means that I have to make the magazine very interesting. This is because they don’t have any expectations of what a music magazine is suppose to be like however, I want to make my magazine in such a way that when their done with this magazine they want to go out and buy more music magazines because my magazine was interesting for them.

• Due to my target audience liking music such as Hip Hop, Rap and R&B the type of music artists they like will be from that category.

• They named artists such as:- Yung Thug- Drake- Bryson Tiller- The Weeknd- Fetty wap - Section BoyzThese results will benefit my magazine because I will be able to feature them in the magazine and have information about them, their concerts and their albums and this will make my target audience want to read my magazine.
