Almost forgot to add sizing to pulp so it can be painted later

Page 8: Analysis Documentation final

More pulp beating. Pulp was left to beat for about 30-45 minutes

After the plaster cured for a few days, the clay models were ready to be released and discarded

Brainstorming ideas for the installation. The newspaper body form was part of a project I started over the summer. I decided to use it for this project.

Page 30: Analysis Documentation final

After the castings were dry I gently folded in the edges

Page 31: Analysis Documentation final

Then I glued pieces of the wire to the inside of each casting so it could be easily mounted to the body form

Castings were then airbrush painted.

Remaining sheets of paper were used to cover Styrofoam balls, and the left over paper pulp was used to add depth to the Styrofoam balls
