Taking the Lead !!! (21 April 2015)"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader."

MAPS marks the duties and responsibilities of the Student-Leaders every year by holding the Investiture Ceremony.

Marking a change from this academic session, the Student Council is further divided into six Committees – Discipline,

Editorial, Cleanliness, Academic, Cultural and Sports to work hand-in-hand with the Committees at Class Level. The

elite members took the pledge and exhibited their high morale with the prayer ‘Hum ko Mann Ki Shakti Dena’. The

Ceremony was the culmination of the electoral process which witnessed the whole school cast their vote for the most

deserving candidate as Head Boy and Head Girl.

Sanchit Goel (XII D) and Smriti Maithili (XII B) won hands down as the new Head Boy and Head Girl respectively in

the Seniors while Rudransh Sharma (V D) and Drishti (V E) made it to the top in the Juniors. Finally the outgoing

HeadBoy and HeadGirl passed on the baton of responsibility to their successors. The event concluded with Principal

Ma’am’s address, motivating the chosen-few to give their best.

missive international

garsainians once again proved their mettle by making their mark

internationally, yet again –this time in the field of Information Technology. 24 of our students participated in COMPUDON SEASON 5 organised by Microsoft Office Specialist, a prestigious competition that saw 125 students of top–notch schools from all over India participate. 5 of our students who participated have been selected for the second level. And we are proud to say that one of these, Vibhor Vij of XI A, has qualified for the PPT 2010 track for the International level to be held at Texas, USA in August 2015.

Congratulations to the winner and the Guide Teacher, Ms. Luni Mittal.

The Good Times Continue To Roll !!!For the second consecutive year, and fourth time in all, our

brilliant young scientists made their claim to international fame by

reaching ISEF(International Science and Engineering Fair), the biggest Pre-College Science Fair. Having proved their mettle

at IRIS, India’s most prestigious Science Fair where four projects

were presented, two of them were selected to be show-cased at

ISEF this May in Pittsburgh USA.

The duo Mansi Aggarwal (XII B) , Harshit Jindal (IX C ) and

Vasudev Malyan (XII B), all of session 2014-15, presented

1 group and 1 individual project respectively. While both the

projects were appreciated at the international platform, Mansi

and Harshit's project ‘Begonia neplansis: An Effective Herbal Ointment Against Entrobiasis’ dazzled the august luminaries and bagged the

4th Grand Award. The project also won a sum of $500 from the Society for Science. The

Guide-Teacher and Mentor Mrs. Ritu Gupta deserves a special mention here for helping MAPS

make its presence felt at ISEF once again after stupendous success last year . Consistent

efforts and back-breaking work by both the students along with their guide teacher and unstinting

support from school authorities helped MAPS students win awards at the Fair yet again and

make their school and country proud!!!
