There has been some concern about these types of vases in the past, and where the flowers or decoraons are aſter a period of me, again go back to the opening statement in this paragraph, we live in ND. If the headstone does not have an area for vases, all decoraons are to be re- moved two weeks aſter Memorial Day so that maintenance of the area can occur unobstructed. Last year at St Judes cemetery an effort was taken to strengthen stones that needed correcon, and the work was completed on a number of grave markers. This year Our Lady of Perpetual Help will see major changes with the road pro- ject, water installed, new front entrance, Crucifix moved or maybe replaced if found to be beyond repair. The new area of the cemetery will hopefully be filled- in to level with the present landsite, trees being planted. Hopefully, with prayer, this will be a major upgrading of this sacred ground.

Cemetery Management, Notes to remember. We live in North Dakota and as such the wind will blow and howl. Everything becomes airborne especially small articles that are left in cemeteries. Because the cemeteries are in open areas nothing should be left on graves after two weeks after Memorial Day Week-end. If the headstone has built in vases, those can be used throughout the year, but the items left are to be secured so they will not fly away. There has been some concern about these types of vases in the past, and where the flowers or decorations are after a period of time, again go back to the opening statement in this paragraph, we live in ND. If the headstone does not have an area for vases, all decorations are to be re-moved two weeks after Memorial Day so that maintenance of the area can occur unobstructed. Last year at St Jude’s cemetery an effort was taken to strengthen stones that needed correction, and the work was completed on a number of grave markers.
