Taking into consideration that Romania is a member state of European Union, strategy and all transport related issuesare implemented and solved in compliance with EU legislation, according to the guidelines of the EuropeAid Directorate-General of the European Commission that is responsible for implementing external aid programmes and projects acrossthe world.

National Secretariat and National Company of Motorways and National Roads of Romania; geographicalDescription = The motorway section Focsani Albita is placed in the north-eastern part of Romania. The Focsani
Albita Motorway section is part of the PanEuropean Corridor no. IX, which connects Bulgaria to Moldavia, and at
the same time with the existing national infrastructure. It is also considered to be an exit to Ukraine. The futuremotorway section will cross 3 counties: Vrancea, Galati and Vaslui.
o Constanta Vama Veche, will be located in the South Eastern part of Romania, parallel to the Black Seashore is connecting the central part of the country with the Romanian/ Bulgarian border; the section is alsoconnecting 2 PanEuropean Corridors no. IV and no. IX, having the following indirect benefits: connects Bulgaria
to Hungary (Partly through Pan European Corridor no IV and partly through Transilvania motorway) and in thesame time with the existing national infrastructure; it is also considered to be an exit to Ukraine, using the nationalroad infrastructure;
o Tg. Mures Iasi Ungheni Motorway section, border with Republic of Moldova; the section is also connecting2 PanEuropean Corridors no. IV and no. IX, having the following indirect benefits: connects Bulgaria to Hungary(Partly through Pan European Corridor no IX and partly through Transilvania motorway) and in the same time
with the existing national infrastructure; it is also considered to be an exit to Ukraine, using the national roadinfrastructure.

between the Romanian NationalCustoms Authority and IRU. Thisreporting system follow also the newrules introduced in EU customs law onJanuary 1, 2011.
