players on.
Congratulations to the Under 12’s & U15’s
who won their game last weekend moving
straight into the Grand Finals.
Commiserations to the U16’s who fought a
hard game however lost by 2 goals. Well
Done on your efforts boys and hope to see
you all back with fighting spirit next year.
Women’s News We headed up to University Oval to play against Adelaide
Uni in our first final playing for AVFC in Division 2.
We have only lost to Adelaide Uni once this year being
the first game of the season and we knew it would not be
an easy game.
It was a close hard game and it showed on the score
board.
FINAL SCORES
AVFC - 3.2 20 lost to AU 4.7 31
GOAL KICKERS:
Brittany Perry 1
Rhianna "Ablett" Millman 1
Tania Franklin 1

ley "Flash" Burrows and Sarah Ellis.
COACH'S COMMENTS:
Adelaide Uni lead us to the ball all night and there was no
talk on the ground by us. We needed to man up more
and at the end of the night we lost by under 2 goals.
This Saturday 5th September we host the Prelim at our
HOME ground and play against Morphettville Park .
We need to bounce back. The hard work we have done
this season wasn't for nothing. We will win this game, and
we WILL win the Grand Final.
We need all our supporters young and old to come out
this Saturday night, wearing black and yellow and show
your support to the team.
A Massive Thank you to all who came out and supported
us in the semi, it was not the result we were after but we
look forward to the Prelim.
GO HOOTERS!!
