A MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN
This edition of Anglian Cuttings is the first one from your new committee. Its somewhat smaller than the previous editions but weve got to start somewhere! This issue has some important dates for your diary so please try and join us at our meetings in Needham Market Community Centre, our annual dinner, the AGM and our coach trip.
The picture on the front of this edition shows the 1.5 tonne excavator and trailer recently purchased by the River Gipping Trust. Our Branch made a financial contribution towards the cost. Rod Mansel

Coach Trip
The times shown below are approximate and will be confirmed nearer the date.
Saturday 14th May
Leave Colchester around 8.00 am, call in at Ipswich for a
second pick-up and then travel to Trentham Gardens, Stoke on Trent, arriving about 12.00. The rest of the day is yours to
see the gardens, take a boat trip on the mile long lake or spend some money in the garden centre restaurant or the
Shopping Village. Then we head to our hotel for an evening meal.
Sunday 15th May
After breakfast we travel to the Churnett Valley Railway for a
steam train ride. In the afternoon we head to the National Memorial Arboretum for a guided tour on the Road Train followed by afternoon tea. We should be back at Ipswich
around 8.00pm
Approximate cost will be 130 per head. To book your place please contact Spencer Greystrong by 13th September.
