Methodological booklet:• Different ways of using the DVD• Background information about the pupils• Short self-presentation• Precise definitions of the key notions:

discrimination, interculturalism, migration, multiculturalism, tolerance, stereotype etc.

• Variations of class situations• Generates discussions, even about

taboos.

• presentations of pedagogical initiatives results and doubts in preventing school aggression ‘Violence free and health conscious school’ the tolerance training DVD

• roundtable discussions• workshops about teaching tolerance

Elliot Aronson is currently Professor Emeritus at the University of California in Santa Cruz. He has long-standing research interests in social influence and attitude change, cognitive dissonance, research methodology, and interpersonal attraction. Professor Aronson's experiments are aimed both at testing theory and at improving the human condition by influencing people to change dysfunctional attitudes and behaviors.
