Term 2 Week 2 Date: 5th May 2016
New bag hooks for four classrooms – many thanks to Ray Blasig, vice-president of the P&C who has installed new hooks for the hanging of school bags outside four of our classrooms. Thanks also to Emma Grabham and Nicky Clarke for a very successful Mother’s day stall today. Asthma Foundation – Tuesday was world Asthma Day and in acknowledgment the NSW Asthma foundation visited our school and presented information sessions to all students K-6. There was also a valuable staff meeting session to update the staff. With Asthma effecting one in ten people the greater the knowledge base the better equipped the community is to manage asthma well. It has been a cool start to the term. Often this
means that jumpers, parkers and sloppy-joes pile
high in the lost property. Please ensure that names
are CLEARLY displayed on the inside of all items of
clothes.

Congratulations to Riley Ledingham, Cameron Jackson and Joely Anderson who have all been selected to represent Western School Sports Association at the PSSA State Football (soccer) championships after their fine performances for Bathurst District PSSA. Well done to all of you.
Presently Cooper Earsman is in Terrigal repre-senting WSSA in the Primary Boys Basketball State Championships. We also wish him all the best.
Our school cricket team played Blayney in their
round three clash of the State Boys PSSA Cricket

pleasing 108 with the loss of just 4 wickets. Cooper
Earsman scored an impressive 40, and Adam Dale

Cooper E (2 for 9) and Brodee Ryan (2 for 4) our
best bowlers. Well done team.
