Stewardship Notes

The Pantry requests boxes of Jello in the month of May. Please place the boxes in the shopping cart in the back of the church. The Pantry is very much in need of paper bags. The Worship Committee, with the support of Session, is moving forward with a fundraising effort to purchase a digital piano for the choir room. The goal is $4,500 for a Clavinova. To date, $1,530 has been donated. If interested in supporting this effort, please designate your check or donate online. The Outreach Committee’s Feed My Starving Children group will be selling flowers on Mother’s Day, May 13. Your purchase will help support the mobile food pack which is coming October 1-4. On Sunday, May 20, we will receive the Pentecost Offering. This offering supports the Young Adult Volunteer Program (Lacy is a YAV this year), ministries with youth—including the Youth Triennium, and programs for children at risk. Each congregation retains 40 percent of the offering to develop and support programs for young people in their own community.
