ANNOUNCEMENTS
Totus Tuus at St. Ann’s will be July 21-26. More details coming soon.
The Bishop’s Charity and Stewardship Appeal: If you have not completed your pledge card for the Bishop’s Charity and Stewardship Appeal, it is not too late. They can either be put in the collection basket, given to Fr. Sughroue, or dropped off at St. Ann’s parish office. The goal for St. Ann’s Parish is $8,800. The assessment of the goal from our parish to support diocesan programs is $1,776. Any amount raised over the assessment is paid back to the parish in the form of rebates. The projected rebate is $7,104. This appeal benefits programs in our diocese such as the Office of Evangelization, Family Life Office, Youth Ministry, Newman Center, Hispanic Ministry, Catholic Social Services, Hospital Ministry, Prison Ministry, Nursing Home Ministry, the Tribunal and more.
Please pray for those who are ill, especially for Larry Spencer. Let the office know if you or a loved one needs to be added to Prayer Chain and/or Prayers of the Faithful.
FORMED.org presents a tremendous opportunity to help
the majority of Catholics change the way they consume
media and develop a daily habit of faith formation and
prayer. It provides access to a great variety of Catholic
resources on the site divided into four categories:
Study, Watch, Listen and Read. Be sure to take advantage
of this program provided to you by the parish.

“I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another." (John 13:34)
It is easy to love someone when they love you back. But it takes strength and courage to love someone when we feel unappreciated, used or feel our opinion doesn’t matter. It takes courage to “love my neighbor” when he may be someone I don’t like, someone I don’t know or someone that doesn’t look like me.

One Holy Hour, One Priest, Each Week, One Heart of Prayer
St. John Vianney once called the priesthood “the love of the heart of
Jesus.”
The Seven Sisters Apostolate is a Eucharistic association of women
who feel called to strengthen the Church by ensuring that a Holy
Hour is prayed each day of the week for the sole intention of a
specific priest or bishop. Each member commits to a Holy Hour on a
distinct day of the week (although not at a designated time), thus
covering a complete week. This generous commitment of one hour
per week of prayer is asked for a period of one year, but can remain
open-ended in time as each individual discerns her call to continue.
We will begin our new year on the feast of the Most Sacred
Heart of Jesus, June 28, 2019.
For further information, please contact Kathy Williams at
402-744-0099 or [email protected].
