INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION


Avec plus de 100 ans, SNEF n’a jamais été aussi jeune et dynamique.

Toujours au service de nos métiers historiques, nous entrons de plain-pied dans l’ère du tout

numérique, des Objets Connectés, du Big Data, de l’Intelligence Artificielle et de la Réalité Virtuelle.

Over 100 years old and yet SNEF has never been so young and dynamic.

Still dedicated to our historical business lines, we are fully moving forward into the all-digital era, the age of Connected Objects, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality.


La progression de notre chiffre d’affaires en 2017 s’élève à 19%, dont 11% de croissance organique, le solde étant lié à des acquisitions dont la principale est la société d’ingénierie EKIUM.

Cette belle croissance confirme la pertinence de nos choix stratégiques.

Si le chemin parcouru par notre entreprise depuis sa création en 1905 sur le Port de Marseille pour y réaliser des travaux d’électricité à bord des navires est considérable, les principes fondateurs empruntés à l’activité Marine sont toujours respectés : dimension humaine de l’organisation, respect strict des engagements pris à l’égard des clients et recherche du meilleur niveau technique nous ont conduits à nous intéresser très tôt à ce monde de la technologie qui évolue si vite.

2017 aura été une année de préparation de l’avenir avec le renforcement ou l’acquisition de savoir-faire destinés à présenter une offre complète, 4.0.

Au cœur de la transformation énergétique et de la révolution numérique, notre entreprise bénéficie en effet d’une situation exceptionnelle.

C’est ainsi qu’Audio et Vidéo, Objets Connectés, Big Data, Intelligence Artificielle, Maintenance Prédictive, Réalité Augmentée, Robotique, Cobotique, Sécurité et Cybersécurité, tout comme Smart City ou Smart Grid, et transition énergétique deviennent pour nous des sujets familiers.

Notre environnement technologique permet d’attirer des jeunes sélectionnés par leur expertise ainsi et surtout que par leur motivation et de les faire progresser au contact des plus anciens dans l’exercice d’un métier passionnant.

Pour nos collaborateurs, l’intérêt de l’entreprise est ainsi lié à un mode de gestion basé sur la confiance, chacun disposant d’une grande autonomie dans le cadre d’une gestion rigoureuse et du respect des règles d’éthique.

De taille intermédiaire, notre entreprise dispose à la fois des moyens nécessaires à son développement et de l’agilité permettant de prendre des décisions rapides. Elle est indépendante et inscrit son action dans le long terme.

Our revenues went up 19% in 2017, with an organic growth of 11%, the balance being attributable to acquisitions, the most significant one being that of the EKIUM engineering company.

This strong growth confirms the relevance of our strategic choices.

While considerable progress has been achieved by our company since its creation in 1905 on the Port of Marseille, doing electrical work on board ships, the founding principles borrowed from the Maritime activity are still being respected: the human dimension of the organization, full compliance with the commitments made to customers and an on-going search to ensure the highest technical level led us very early to focus on the very fast-moving world of technology.

2017 was a year of preparation for the future where we strengthened or acquired know-how with the aim to offer a comprehensive range of services, 4.0.

At the very heart of the transformation of energy and the digital revolution, our company enjoys an exceptional position.

That is how topics such as Audio and Video, Connected Objects, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Maintenance, Augmented Reality, Robotics, Cobotics, Security and Cybersecurity, as well as Smart City or Smart Grid, and energy transition, have become so familiar to us.

Our technological environment allows us to attract young people selected for their expertise and above all for their motivation, and to make them progress by working along older employees in the practice of a captivating profession.

For our collaborators, the company’s interest lies in a management model based on trust, each enjoying great autonomy within the framework of rigorous management and compliance with the rules of ethics.

Intermediate in size, our company has both the means necessary for its development and the agility to make quick decisions. It is independent and focuses on the long term.

We are convinced that it will achieve sustainable growth for the benefit of its customers, in France and internationally.

Avec 19% de croissance, nous passons la barre du milliard d’euros de chiffre d’affaires (1 100 M€).

Ainsi, pour la troisième année consécutive, le Groupe SNEF enregistre une forte croissance et une amélioration de sa rentabilité, s’inscrivant dans la dynamique du plan Phare, lancé en 2014.

Notre carnet de commandes progresse de 10% et les perspectives pour 2018 sont bonnes.

Avec l’augmentation de nos effectifs monde de près de 2 000 salariés en 2017, nous poursuivons notre plan de recrutement pour disposer des meilleures compétences, dans un marché en pleine transformation.

Depuis le début de l’exercice 2018, nous avons entamé un ambitieux programme de croissance externe, qui, conjugué avec une croissance organique élevée, devrait permettre au Groupe SNEF de progresser de plus de 25% sur l’exercice, l’objectif étant d’atteindre 1,4 Milliard de production.

Nous avons intégré les sociétés Max Control, spécialisée dans l’auto-matisme sur le secteur de l’Oil & Gas, au Brésil ; Sequor, spécialisée dans l’édition de logiciels d’Industrie 4.0, au Brésil et Predict, société française spécialisée dans la maintenance prédictive. Nous sommes entrés en phase de négociation exclusive pour la reprise de plusieurs sociétés, en particulier le Groupe Fouré Lagadec, spécialisé dans la maintenance industrielle sur les métiers de la mécanique, qui em-ploie 1 700 salariés sur l’ensemble du territoire français et en Afrique.

Nous renforçons ainsi le Groupe SNEF dans ses métiers historiques de l’Industrie, tout en poursuivant la démarche de montée en compé-tence dans l’ingénierie et de maîtrise des nouvelles technologies.

Nous nous inscrivons dans une perspective de croissance pour plu-sieurs années. Nous nous y sommes préparés ; nos structures de management ont été renforcées, nous n’avons pas de dette et nous bénéficions d’une bonne dynamique interne, toujours fidèles à nos valeurs d’entrepreneur depuis 113 ans.

With 19% growth, we have exceeded the one billion euro mark with revenues of 1.1 billion.

For the third year, Groupe SNEF recorded strong growth and improved profitability in keeping with the momentum of the Phare plan launched in 2014.

Our order book is up 10% and prospects for 2018 are good.

Our worldwide workforce increased to close to 2,000 employees in 2017 as we pursue our recruitment plan to secure the highest skills in a market an undergoing profound transformation.

From the beginning of the 2018 fiscal year, we have embarked on an ambitious external growth program, which, combined with high organic growth, should enable Groupe SNEF to grow by more than 25% within the fiscal year, with the objective to reach a 1.4 billion production.

We have integrated the Max Control companies, specializing in automation for the Oil & Gas sector, in Brazil; Sequor, specializing in the publishing of Industry 4.0 software, in Brazil and Predict, a French company specializing in predictive maintenance. We have entered the exclusive negotiation stage for the takeover of several compa-nies, in particular the Groupe Fouré Lagadec, specializing in industrial maintenance in mechanical trades, with a staff of 1,700 across France and in Africa.

To do so, we continue to strengthen Groupe SNEF in its historical business lines, with an ongoing skill improvement process in engineering and the mastering of new technologies.

We anticipate strong growth prospects in the years ahead. We have prepared for it; our management structures have been strengthened, we have no debt and enjoy a good internal dynamic; we keep true to our entrepreneurial values as we have done over the past 113 years.

SNEF Lab réunit les métiers de nouvelles technologies : supervision, son et image, objets connectés, maintenance prédictive, industrie 4.0.

As performance drivers, Health and Safety derive into concrete actions to which all employees contribute. Carried out by dedicated teams, prevention actions include training, awareness and working method optimization to make «zero accidents» a tangible goal. The OHSAS 18001, MASE and CEFRI certifications confirm our commitment in this regard. Both on construction sites and in branch offices, Groupe SNEF is strengthening its HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) skills to always further improve risk control.
