2.5 Feedback from KVK to Research System Name of KVK Feedback
Sambalpur More research should be done in Rice for case of organic inputs & yield enhancement
Sambalpur More research should be done on pre-emergence herbicide for control of mutha&duba grass
Sambalpur More trial should be done on micro-nutrient case in oilseed & cereals
Sambalpur Trial should be done for developing YMV resistant variety of Greengram
Sambalpur Research should be done on the management aspects of larger water bodies to enhance productivity
Sambalpur Residual toxicity level of ethrel treated ripened mango is to be tested
Sambalpur Research to be conducted on papaya leaf curl virus tolerance varieties
Sambalpur Research to be conducted for developing IPM measures for complete control of fruit & shoot borer in brinjal
Sambalpur Chemicals like Spinosad / Indoxacarb / Cartap Hydrochloride is available in the market so research should be carried out to know the efficiency and Cost: Benefit ratio for the above pesticides.
Sambalpur Research should be done for seed treatment as well as seedling treatment with suitable chemical for controlling leaf curl virus in tomato.
Sambalpur AlthoughFlubendiamide is a good new molecule for control of pod borer in Pigeon Pea, but research work should be done for bio-pesticide in combination with the above pesticide for increasing the net profit.
