Founded in 1991 as a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation, the Deer Park Education Foundation collaborates with our community to pursue resources to enhance educational opportunities for students in Deer Park ISD classrooms. Over the last 20 years, the Foundation has awarded the

district over One Million dollars. Funds are raised through special events and donations, large and small, from individuals, local businesses, industry and community groups. The Foundation provides funds beyond the district’s normal operating budget to fund enrichment teacher grants which allow students to achieve unlimited potential. Public education is the foundation of our future work force.

Together we can make a difference!

This year for the first time, Deer Park and Pasadena partnered in the McDonald’s Texas Invitational Basketball Tournament, one of the largest high school basketball tournaments in the nation. Manned with over 450 volunteers, ten gyms in Pasadena and Deer Park were energized with eighty teams from around the state. Make plans to attend next year’s tournament on November 15-17, 2012 and enjoy some phenomenal basketball.

Shell Deer Park presented $35,000 to the Deer Park Education Foundation for the 3rd Annual “Strides for Schools” 5K Fun Run/Walk
