DEAR FRIENDS OF SOUTHEAST, This past year we’ve strengthened our programs and services, built better communication processes, and secured our financial base. None of this could have happened without the passion and commitment of selfless community partners and outstanding staff.

One notable project that successfully launched this year is a new partnership with a pharmacy embedded in our South Duke Street Center. Together we are able to provide affordable prescriptions for our patients and the whole community. What’s even more fantastic is that this business venture provides financial support for the organization as well!

Another extraordinary benefit for our patients resulted from our expansion of integrated behavioral health care with a focus on mental wellness for our patients along with their medical and dental care. We’re fortunate and honored to work with the experts at Community Services Group to treat the mind and body. The Lancaster County Community Foundation helped us bring healthcare into the homes of our patients with the addition of a community health worker.

Financially, we put new methods of accounting and software systems in place to allow us to operate with more depth of knowledge so we can hold ourselves and our vendors accountable. And last year, more than ever in our 40 years of fulfilling our promise of high-quality and compassionate healthcare, you shared the financial responsibilities providing medical and dental care for ALL of our neighbors—regardless of their economic status. We are emboldened by your confidence in us.
