Another e-twinning project Let’s create a city guide! Teacher Alina Bocan

This project is great. It’s about the place where we live. Our project partners are from Turkey and Poland. They are: Esen Sandiraz from Turkey Dilek Findik - Turkey Emin Oguz - Turkey Sevgi Saatci - Turkey Anna Kotowska - Poland

The purpose of the project is to help students find out something more about their town. They will find out similarities and differences in their enviroment and their partners'.The aim is to create an interesting picture of the place they live in and to advertise their town, talking about the great things there.

The project will run from November to March.

This is the first activity from November. Students had to design maps of their neighbourhood, giving explanation in English.

Winter is great!

The project activity for December is about our town when winter comes. The partners of the project want to prove that their town is the coolest one and try to show what is the most representative thing for the places where they live. ( For Ploiesti , it’s a snowman)They also want to wish their partners from the other countries their best wishes for Christmas.

But we also like to have fun . And we had plenty of fun when we met for the

American Angles activities .

It was great because we played American games with Susan (our friend from America) and Simona ( from Peace Corps) and of course our teacher Alina Bocan.We learned how to play Hokey Pokey Red Rover, Red Rover Duck, duck, goose

We also had great fun when we went to

the Christmas Ball held at the

school nr.29.

We took part in many competitions and even won the first prize at the Carol Contest. We were definitely the best. This is why we received gifts from Susan, decorations that she brought from America especially for us.

We even acted in a Christmas play, where we had different roles. We were elves, princesses, snowflakes, angels, trees, Santa Claus. It was cool.

And even the real Santa Claus came here because there was a huge bag full of presents and we found lots of presents there for everybody.
