To Whom It May Concern: May 29, 2014 Anshul Agarwal is very bright, energetic, and personable, and I recommend him to you for any position which is appropriate for an MBA with a technical background. I have known Mr. Agarwal for the past 2 years in several contexts. He was a student in my classes on Data and Economic Analysis in the fall and winter of 2012. These are rigorous classes which combine quantitative tools with economic concepts and analysis. He distinguished himself in both of these courses, receiving grades of Ain both. This required a combination of strong quantitative skills and an understanding of the economic concepts and issues being studied. There is also a strong communications component to these courses, and Mr. Agarwal again distinguished himself with clear abilities to clearly present complex information verbally and in written form. In fact, based on this excellent performance, Mr. Agarwal was chosen to be my teaching and research assistant in his second year in the program. He was an effective tutor to the incoming MBA students, and a dependable source of support in other ways. In the second year of the program he found his passion in operations, receiving his green belt certification in lean and six sigma. This makes him an excellent candidate for a position requiring data analysis, process improvement and management, or both. In addition to his strong academic background, Mr. Agarwal was very active in the life of our community. He organized numerous cross-cultural events, which were highly successful in bringing together students and faculty from various countries and cultures. Indeed, I finally understood why the scores are so high in cricket after he organized an instructional match! Based on his leadership and involvement in numerous such events, Mr. Agarwal was selected by the combined first and second year MBA students for the Mason Community Contributor Awarda highly prized achievement. As is evident from his resume, Mr. Agarwal also has a strong background in both software and management systems designed to improve process performance. In short, Mr. Agarwal has what it takes to make an immediate impact on your organization, and I recommend him to you for any appropriate position. Sincerely, Deborah A. Hewitt Dr. Deborah A. To Whom It May Concern: May 29, 2014

Anshul Agarwal is very bright, energetic, and personable, and I recommend him to you for any

position which is appropriate for an MBA with a technical background. I have known Mr.

Agarwal for the past 2 years in several contexts. He was a student in my classes on Data and

Economic Analysis in the fall and winter of 2012. These are rigorous classes which combine

quantitative tools with economic concepts and analysis. He distinguished himself in both of these

courses, receiving grades of ‘A’ in both. This required a combination of strong quantitative skills

and an understanding of the economic concepts and issues being studied. There is also a strong

communications component to these courses, and Mr. Agarwal again distinguished himself with

clear abilities to clearly present complex information verbally and in written form.

In fact, based on this excellent performance, Mr. Agarwal was chosen to be my teaching and

research assistant in his second year in the program. He was an effective tutor to the incoming

MBA students, and a dependable source of support in other ways. In the second year of the

program he found his passion in operations, receiving his green belt certification in lean and six

sigma. This makes him an excellent candidate for a position requiring data analysis, process

improvement and management, or both.

In addition to his strong academic background, Mr. Agarwal was very active in the life of our

community. He organized numerous cross-cultural events, which were highly successful in

bringing together students and faculty from various countries and cultures. Indeed, I finally

understood why the scores are so high in cricket after he organized an instructional match! Based

on his leadership and involvement in numerous such events, Mr. Agarwal was selected by the

combined first and second year MBA students for the Mason Community Contributor Award—a

highly prized achievement.

As is evident from his resume, Mr. Agarwal also has a strong background in both software and

management systems designed to improve process performance.

In short, Mr. Agarwal has what it takes to make an immediate impact on your organization, and I

recommend him to you for any appropriate position.

Sincerely,
