� Understand the advances in practice and techniques that contribute to functional and

aesthetic improvement in patients with dento-maxillofacial deformities;

� Appreciate the prevailing multi-disciplinary approaches to both routine and complex

orthognathic clinical care;

� Formulate treatment plans for orthognathic patients based on clinical, cephalometric and

imaging evaluations;

� Acquire skill in performing dental model simulation surgery and computer simulation

planning from the hands-on workshops;

� Learn the skill in performing maxillofacial osteotomy techniques based on cadavers
