PREFACE

In the present fast moving globalize economy only theoretical knowledge is

not sufficient for an individual to perform efficiently to bridge the gap between theory

and practical.

The student’s are required to undergo 36 day’s training in any organization in

subjects like Marketing, Finance, Human Resource or information technology.

Summer internship program is a prelude to the final placement’s that the

students will be getting. It is during these 36 days of exposure to the industry that the

students can make a mark of hard-work, sincerity. Knowledge and ethics on the host

organization.

Summer internship program would also be a great learning experience since it

enabler’s the students to apply theory to practice and observe and learn the current

trends in the markets.

So, in order to have a practical exposure. I have been placed in “KND

equipment Pvt. Ltd.” company for my summer internship program as my

specialization in marketing and this company especially Junagadh division deals with

sales & distribution.

The only aim of SIP is not to have approach that is not only the benefit for the

student’s but also the company should be benefited.

The value addition done by me was the survey conducted by me. The survey

carried out was for KND equipment Pvt. Ltd.

To conducted a survey this was carried out to know the “Growth of

Automotive Machine in Junagadh District.” This survey includes things like no. of

garage in district. No. of users of machine.

We carried a survey of 100 people by formulating questionnaire which is

attached at the end.

of the garage industry.

It is everyone known that before the development of the machine & tools of

garage industry. The almost work repair & maintenance will be done through the

manual work.

But revolution in automobile industry also provide scope to the garage

industry for the growth & development.

India’s rapidly increasing domestic demand and proximity to key Asian

markets has made its a strong auto components sourcing hub.

In 2016-2017 the annual turnover of the auto component industry in India

The part of an organization that manage its money. The function of a finance

department typically include planning, organizing auditing accounting for and

controlling its companys finance’s. The finance department also usually produce the

company’s financial statements.

This company is a sole proprietorship firm because that the start of the firm

will by owner’s personal fund and bank loans.

Company is earning good profit and retaining that profit into the business for

expansion purpose.

I know that here presenting financial data but company is not providing any

kind of finance related data because that financial data is not present.

employee. Because of that company is not maintaining human resource management

department.

Organizational structure is a system used to define a hierarchy within an

organization it identifies each job its function and where it reports to within the

In this report company want to study the growth of the automotive service

equipment.

Company main focus on the machine like tyre changer, wheel balancer and

alignment machine.

From the study company want to get idea about the future scope in area,

pricing strategy improvement in product, customer requirement and needs.

From this study company is get idea about the factor’s which are affecting the

customer purchase decision.

This study is doing the identify the mentions all the factors which is affect the

company’s image, sales, profit etc.

arena for alternative fuel based vehicles. Such limiting measures need to be examines

3.3 BACK GROWTH OF THE STUDY

To achieve the goal successfully one need to sketch a perfect road map or

adopt a strategy to attain the targets.

(1) The first and foremost thing was to have a complete knowledge about the

company product and competitors product which help me to convince and

communicate with the people.

(2) The second thing I was done that identify my prospective customer of the

product.

(3) After that the next step to do area wise mapping to locate the prospective

customer area like Keshod, Junagadh, Maliyahatina, Mangrol, Manavadar etc.

(4) After the divisions of the customer area I was used door-to-door calling to the

customer garages.

market day by day.

So company and I want to know about how many people in Junagadh district

used the automotive machine in their garage.

4.1 RESEARCH DESIGN

A detailed outline of how an investigation will take place. A research design

will typically include how data is to be collected. What instruments will be employed

how the instrument will be used and the intended means for analyzing data collected.

Research design as “a blue print for conducting a study with maximum control

over factors that may interfere with the validity for the findings.”

Research design for this study use by me is “Descriptive Research.”

Sources of data collection is two.

(1) Primary Data

(2) Secondary Data

For this study my source of data collection was primary data collection

because visited garage personally asked those questions and filled up the survey

questionnaires.

I have not taken the help of any secondary source of the data for the analysis

purpose.

Questionnaire is made with structures questionnaire.

I used open & close ended question.

In the research methodology so many data collection method are their like.

Observation etc.

For this study I used “Survey Method” for collecting data because in survey

method surveyor gets the opinion of the respondent’s which will help him / her to

extract result from the data. So, I used this method because it’s leads to direct contact

between the surveyor and the respondents.

The population in statistics includes all members of a defined group that we

are studying or collecting information on for data driven decision.

Population is denoted “N” in statistics.

I have selected the “Customer of Junagadh District”. Who are connected or in

garage work or connected with tyre segment of the care.

Two type of sampling method is their.

For this study I was used non – random sampling method.

Under non-random sampling I used convenience sampling.

Interpretation :

67% percentage of peoples are think that alignment machine is not important

for them. and 33% percentage of peoples are think that alingment machine is

important for them.

61% percentage of peoples are prefer price less than 3 lacs and 25%

percentage of peoples are prefer price 3 lacs. and 15% percent prefere price more than

3 lack rupees.

53% percent peoples are used machine for purpose of customer satisfaction

and 23% percent peoples are used machine for the purpose of increase income. 18%

percent peoples are used machine for time saving. 6% percent peoples are used

machine for cost saving.

5.1 CONCLUSION

From the above data it is show that majority of the people are not using

alignment machine.

61% percent people are prefer priceless than 3 lacs rupees. So company need

to reduce the price.

Majority of the people are focusing on quality and price of the machine. So

company need to give a good quality of machine.

Majority of the people wants more guarantee and warranty period. So

company need to give more guarantee and warranty time.

Almost 93% percent people wants to take a training for the use of machine. If

it's possible then company provide them training.

5.2 LIMITATION OF THE STUDY

(1) The first I was faced problem in the beginning of the training while interact with

people for the different question or queries asked by them.

(2) This study was done in limited timing because of this the study have timing

limitation.

(3) This study was costly also because. I was met people at their work place.

(4) It is also difficult for me to convince people about that I am working for company

not for any other motive.

(5) People of the Junagadh district never have information about the machine

company.

(6) Limited departmental information is provided.

(7) Company not provide sufficient information.
