Join us for “Make a Difference” Day 2011 on Thursday, June 23, 2011. This day of service links volunteers with local

agencies in need of assistance. There will be a kick-off event held at the Edgecombe County Administration Auditorium, 201 St. Andrew Street in Tarboro, NC beginning at 8 am. The volunteer time frame will be 9 am-12 pm. All volunteers will

receive a ‘Live United’ T-shirt and food will be provided. The three projects sites are listed below.

Site 1: Princeville Senior Citizen Center – Volunteers will do landscaping around the front of the building, add panel of siding around the back of the building, pressure wash the building, and paint the front and

back railings.

Site 2: Tarboro Community Outreach- Volunteers will paint rooms at the Blushing Place, help with food preparation and serving in the kitchen, and work on the beautification of the main shelter as well as

Blushing Place.

Site 3: Princeville Montessori School and Boys & Girls Club – Volunteers will landscape around the front of the school, add woodchips to the playground area, and paint.
