Join us for MMR’s Spring Bible Study!

If you ever wanted to give Bible study a try this is a great opportunity!

Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible

An engaging journey through the Bible, this eight-part study (30-minute sessions) provides the easiest way to understand the Bible. Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible makes the complex simple. It helps you uncover the story woven throughout Scripture so that you can get the “big picture” of the Bible and understand what it is all about. The Bible is a story about the Father’s unfailing love for you - a love that you are now called to share with others.

You will: Make sense of the Bible and see how it relates to your everyday life; Discover the remarkable connections between the Old and New Testaments; See how the sacraments, the Church and our entire Catholic Faith is rooted in Scripture … and much more!

Bible Study Sessions here at MMR will be held the weeks of April 3rd through May 22nd at the following times: Tuesday morning at 9:30 am Wednesday Evening at 7:30 pm Saturday morning at 8:30 am Register on-line at www.mmredeemer.org/bible-study

Walk to Jerusalem: A Lenten Journey

Together a group of enthusiastic pa-rishioners are walk-ing 5,784 mile walk to Jerusalem. This last week our virtu-al trip will take us

from Turkey to Jerusalem! We are almost there! Please pray for our group as we complete our journey to be good stewards of the body God has giv-en us so that we may walk in faith and grow stronger both spiritually and physically! Our final group walk will be on Saturday, March 19th after morning Mass (around 8:45 AM). We meet in front of the Blessed Mother Grot-to. If you can make it, we would love to walk with you! The American Heart Association suggests you take 10,000 steps a day for good health. That is about 5 miles! It sounds like a lot, but it adds up! Thank you for supporting our Len-ten Journey and your good health!

Calling All Golfers!

The Annual MMR Golf Outing will be held on April 25th at beautiful Talamore Country Club and once again feature a sit-down lunch, 18 holes of “scramble” golf, on-course beverage stations, a post-round cocktail hour, a silent auction and a barbeque buffet dinner. All pro-ceeds will be donated to our sister Parish, St. Helena in Philadelphia. In the past, the generosity of our golf-ers, supporters, sponsors and do-nors have helped us raise money for them to purchase a van to assist with transporting their parishioners to Mass and other events at the parish. So sign up now to come out and spend a great day in the sun with friends and fellow MMR Pa-rishioners. If you are not a golfer, don’t worry - come out for the cocktail hour and dinner that will begin at 5:00 pm, during which we will also be having an auction where people in the past have been able to win such great items as Phillies tickets, gift baskets, gift certificates, sports memorablilia, memberships to Talamore Country Club and “baskets of cheer”.
