The People
We had the privilege of distributing gifts at Teacher Appreciation Day at God Son
School in Chennai.
God’s Work
Non-Christian children learning about Jesus, a paraplegic receives a modified
wheelchair, women receive sewing machines to help support their family

The water was about 12 feet down and 20 feet deep, most can’t swim =
commitment
First drinks from a new well. Clean water saves lives.

God worked on my heart in HUGE ways. Every church we stopped at (often 5-6/ day)
presented us with either flower leis like this one or beautiful shawls. Incredible gifts from people with so little to give.
The Orphans
Only 6 months before we arrived these boys showed up at the Bible College. They had been picked up off the streets in Nepal. Homeless orphans. Now they are like brothers. They are cared,
learning to speak English, and know Jesus.
The Need
Blind young men are often cast out. Considered cursed. Some of these boys live in this small home, others just come a few times a week to learn a trade. Many hear about Jesus for the first time.
A new Christian school under construction in Chennai
A future dormitory to house 100 children: half will be orphans who are supported by
individuals and churches
A ceremony to dedicate the site of the future dorm.
Faith in action.
Someday we will be held accountable for how we spent our days and our resources.
