Our annual gala, “Puttin’ on the
Ritz,” was an incredible success,
thanks to your support!
February 27 found a full house of more
than 240 people enjoying an evening of
music, laughter, delicious food, beverage
and exciting raffles and auctions at the
Everett Chorale’s annual gala sing-along.
The crowd did “dress to impress”,
coming out in authentic costumes of
the early 20th century to enjoy the mu-
sic of Irving Berlin. Everything from the
decorations to the costumes to the
music reflected that era, and guests en-
joyed singing along to
Page 2 Thank you, Everett Chorale patrons!
some of Berlin’s hits such as
“Alexander’s Ragtime Band,” “Easter
Parade,” “White Christmas,” and
“God Bless America.”
Ticket sales for concerts cover only a
part of the revenue needed to pro-
duce our programs. Our supporters
provide the rest through attendance
at special events like our annual gala,
tax-deductible donations and corpo-
rate sponsorships.
Next year’s gala promises to offer
even more fun and excitement! Watch
for details in future newsletters.

“Spring is the time to start thinking about next year’s en-
rollment in Snohomish County Children’s Choir and for
planning a wonderful season of great singing opportuni-
ties for our children! We are looking for any child who
loves to sing and needs a warm and friendly group in
which to grow musically. We are that group!”
Nothing is as exciting for a child as receiving a letter stat-
ing that they personally were recommended for the choir
by a well-known family friend, family member, or neighbor.
A recommendation form can be found on the next page.
The SCCC welcomes ALL children, who come with no
audition. Children can join at any time to participate in
the nine month season. The child will then receive a spe-
cial invitation from the Choral Director, telling him or her
s/he has been individually recommended for the choir.
Please make copies of the form on the next page to refer
two or three talented children for the Snohomish County
Children’s Choir.
