The TS-PM (Process Monitoring) application learns how the process force progression should look during a machining operation. An alarm is triggered if any deviations occur later.

Benefits:· Monitor tool breakage· Protect the machine· Increase process reliability

Mode of operation:Learns how the curve should appear, then monitors its similarity to the actual progression, within tolerance ranges

Processes:Drilling, milling, turning, thread cutting, reaming, etc. in mass production

Success factors:· Automated manufacturing with processes to be

repeated precisely· Process force is > 0.1% of the maximum engine force

Particularly successful for:· Manufacturing engines, pumps, transmission parts,

brakes and bearings for the automotive industry· Large-scale production

Comments:

Process-related specifications can be created for the app. The „fully automatic“ mode is the standard mode in which monitoring is adjusted automatically.

The app can be switched into other modes which enable monitoring to be adjusted extremely precisely.
