FIXING TO A PANEL With the vast amount of customisation options available with our modular walls, the possibilities are truly endless. From wall art and decorative screens, to

wall planters and vertical gardens, this guide details the recommended process of safely fixing items to a panel.

NOTEIt is recommended that the reader pays particular attention to items identified as a NOTE in this manual to ensure a satisfactory installation and that the long term performance of the products.

For correct finishing of your ModularWalls product, you must paint or seal the panels within 90 days of installation.

The recommendations detailed by ModularWalls in this guide are formulated along the lines of good building practice. FIXING TO YOUR PANEL

1. Mark out your fixing locations on the wall panel, then drill a small 3mm pilot hole into the fibre cement skin before installing the WallMate.

Use Ramet WallMates that are available from Bunnings. Each WallMate will hold up to 10kg.

3. Continue until all WallMates are installed.

2. Screw the WallMate into position slowly, making sure you drive the WallMate in so it is flush with the outer face of the fibre cement skin and not below. If you drive it too far in, you will ‘strip it’.

4. It is recommend (if suitable) that you also apply a Polyurethane sealant/adhesive to the item being secured to the wall panel, such as Flexit.

5. Attach the item that is to be fixed to the panel (wall art, decorative screen, planter, etc), with caution so as to not over tighten the screws.
