PARISH LOTTERY CALENDARS ~ DRAWINGS HAVE BEGUN A few Parish Lottery Calendars are still available in the back of the Church. Calendars are $ 20.00 each and run thru December 31st. There are single calendars available. There are approximately 17 Calendars remaining unsold. You are asked to sign the calendars out on the sign out sheet provided. To date 789 calendar returns have been made, leaving 211 that haven’t been returned. Please remember it is time to make your returns with stubs included! Please help to make this very important fund raiser a success again this year!

Thank you to everyone for you kindness & generosity in last weekends second collection for the Care & Education of Priests. The Collection total was $ 476.76. You support is greatly appreciated.

2016 CATHOLIC MEN’S CONFERENCE—SATURDAY, APRIL 23RD

The Second Annual Catholic Men’s Conference, “Be A Man: Jesus Christ, The Face of True Manhood”, will be held Saturday, April 23, at King’s College, Scandlon Physical Education Center, 149 North Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA. The day begins with Eucharistic Adoration and Rosary at 6:00AM. Registration & Continental Breakfast is at 7:00AM; Conference is from 8:00AM to 3:00PM. Register online at: www.BeAManConference.com or mail completed conference brochure application with your check to Attn: Men’s Conference, Office for Parish Life, 330 Wyoming Ave, Scranton, PA 18503. (Mark “Men’s Conference” on the memo line of your check.) Fliers with registration sheet are available in the back of our Churches.

SPRING STYLE PARTY

Come join the fun at our Spring Style Party. Fashions provided by the Dress Barn. The Style Party will be held on Sunday, April 24th, from 12 Noon to 4:00PM at Neumann Hall in Choconut. Light refreshments will be served. Donation is $ 10.00 per person. You can get your tickets after any Mass or from any member of the Altar & Rosary Society.

PARISH SPRING BANQUET

Our Spring Banquet will be held Wednesday, May 18th, at 6:00PM, at the Blue Dolphin in Apalachin. The menu is: Marinated Chicken, Rice Pilaf & salad; Meatloaf, choice of potato & salad; Virginia Baked Ham, choice of potato & salad; Crab Cakes, choice of potato & salad. (Potato choices are French Fries, Baked Potatoes, or Mashed Potatoes—choice must be indicated on the sign up sheet.)

Dessert is also included. Cost is $ 20.00 per person. Sign up sheets are in the back of the Church. All money needs to be in by May 15th. Please put money in a marked envelope in the collection or give to an Altar & Rosary Society member. Please join us for a wonderful meal and night out with friends. Anyone in the Parish (men, women, or friends) is welcome to attend.

CHOIR / CANTOR PRACTICE Choir/Cantor practice is held Tuesday evening at 6PM in St. Francis Church. New members are always welcome. A few more Cantors are still needed. If you are willing to leading the congregation in song, please contact Marilee Beyer (570-934-0976) for more information and training.

CHURCH SOFTBALL

The Church Softball League will soon begin. If you would like to play on our team or have questions, please call Sean Kelly at (570-744-2010).

LEGION OF MARY

The Legion of Mary, Binghamton Curia, will have their annual Curia Acies ceremony on Sunday, April 10th, at 2:00PM at St. Cyril’s Church, 148 Clinton St., Binghamton. An invitation is extended to all auxiliaries and former active members to attend and renew their consecration to Mary.

SS. PETER & PAUL TOWANDA CELEBRATES 175TH ANNIVERSARY

As Ss. Peter & Paul celebrate their 175th Anniversary Year 2016-17, numerous interesting, inspiring and fun activities are being planned! You are invited to the first event: a Family-Friendly Concert fea-turing the Christian band “FULL ARMOR”, to be held in the J.F.K. Hall in St. Agnes School, 102 Third Street, Towanda—on Saturday, May 14th, at 7:00PM. Admission is a non-perishable food item for the T.A.C.O. Food Pantry—but seating will be limited, so tickets may be reserved by calling 570-561-
