This publication provides an analysis of the movement of the average prices of building materials during the month of April 2015 compared with March 2015 and April 2014. The key changes were:
During April 2015 the average prices of the ‘Wires for residential towers’, ‘False ceiling’, ‘Sanitary ware- Bathroom set without accessories’ and ‘Employment’ groups increased by 6.8%, 4.5%, 3.0% and 2.6% respectively, compared with March 2015.
During April 2015 the average prices of the ‘Glass’ group decreased by 13.8%, ‘Pipes )PVC(’ by 6.4%, ‘Steel’ by 6.2% and ‘Wa-terproofing products’ decreased by 4.8% compared with March 2015.
During April 2015 the average price of the ‘False ceiling’ group increased by 6.8% and both ‘Concrete’ and ‘Block’ increased by 4.6% compared with April 2014.
During April 2015, the average prices of ‘Employment’, ‘Waterproofing products’ and ‘Steel’ decreased by 23.7%, 17.2% and 14.5% respectively, compared with the same period in the previous year.
