Cost: Varied Per Projects Size: Varied Per Project Description: Community Colleges of Spokane Spokane Falls Community College Student Union Building Master Plan 60,000 sf Master Planning and Programming Study of the SFCC Student Union Building to reorganize the building to improve service to students and working environments for SFCC staff. In 2010, the Master Plan Study was updated to reflect current program and budget determinants, and to reflect mechanical system options. Community Colleges of Spokane Spokane Falls Community College Library Improvements Our work reorganized the media circulation space and addressed acoustical issues between the first floor and 2nd level spaces. At the circulation area, we provided enhanced capability to serve the growing technology circulation requirements and improved lobby functionality. Working with Sparling Acoustical and Meulink Engineering, we designed glass relights that acoustically separated first floor spaces from the mezzanine yet allowed return air to continue to circulate. Community Colleges of Spokane Spokane Community College Bigfoot Bistro Our services resulted in the renovation of 3,500 sf of rarely used meeting and food service overflow space adjacent to the Lair dining facility. The Bigfoot Bistro is now a popular study, lounge and event space. Our services required collaboration with CCS food services vendors and multi-media specialists, and included mechanical and electrical engineering consultants. Community Colleges of Spokane Spokane Community College Building 15 Our work included design and construction administration services for the remodel of a 2,500 sf space in the Student Services Building (Building 15). The project was phased to minimize disruption to students and staff.
