The Station includes not only the transportation, also a variety of recreational activities and services. As a connector element of the station with the neighborhood, it recreates the stream, being a green space which reduces the impact caused by transportation and traffic.

Activities focus on the development of art, with music workshops, film, visual and performing arts. Exhibitions are located in areas of movement, being close to transportation.

MOBILITY

Lago Agrio is an organism that has developed withthe oil and found a new path while it was adapting to new circumstances.

In the quest to survive, the jungle and the city are constantly changing. The diversity has been the basisfor their livelihood and development.

Each organism has found its place and its relationship to the whole. Rethinking restrictions. Design spaces, without limitations, without differentiating interior / exterior, offering versatile spaces.

La Floresta Market is located in the west border of the neighborhood with the city. The market become the link between the neighborhood and the city.

It is a public space with a temporal and flexible use. It offers activities during the whole week, day and night, that adapts to la Floresta and the city.

The flexibility use of this public space, allows the diversity of activities. The use is not imposed instead it is proposed by the users. The space works as a park, but in fridays it becomes a market.

la florestamarket

The proposal in the market must allowmultiple activities so design start with aflexible module, it works not only for salesbut can be used for other activities y stay in the same place.

The market is a project in movement, wherethe variations can be seen each week.

The variety becomes an opportunity for newactivities instead of being a problem.
