INSTALLATION : The LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery System is a silent tracking device that is hidden in your vehicle by a certified technician and is registered in LoJack’s database.

NOTIFICATION: When a theft is reported to the police

ACTIVATION: The unit in the vehicle will be activated by the Police by sending a radio signal from the tower. The LoJack unit in the car will be activated and then will emit a uniquely coded signal.

LOCATION: Law enforcement authorities who are equipped with LoJack vehicle tracking units can then track and recover your LoJack equipped vehicle usually within hours.

RECOVERY: The vehicle is returned to the owner.

The LoJack system works through concrete walls, ceilings, and other barriers (such as underground parking garages) to locate LoJack-equipped vehicles. Other services use a satellite system, which requires an unobstructed line-of-site between the vehicle’s satellite antenna and orbiting GPS satellites.
