GUIDE REMINDERHomeHome
Shakadang is an aboriginal name, referring to the discovery of animal teeth in ancient times by Atayal tribal people. The trail is about 4,500 meters, which allows you to be close to the clean, bright green-blue water and the marble riverbed.
As the river cut deeper into the gorge, the holes which gradually formed by the erosion of the swift current of the Liwu River became visible above the water line, and so tourists today can view these interesting “rocks with the holes”, called Swallow Grotto.
