Looking to step into the Footwear industry? The Art and Sole Academy is the �rst shoemaking school in Canada to o�er classes and workshops for those interested in learning the art of shoemaking. We are expand-ing quickly and currently looking for a design intern to help us grow!

RESPONSIBILITIES:- Pattern making and sewing samples for footwear, handbags and other leather goods- Shopping, sourcing, ordering supplies and materials for workshops- Available to work 1-2 days throughout the week between 10-5pm. Schedule is �exible and some work may be done at home depending on the task.

REQUIREMENTS:- Sewing and basic pattern making experience is required - Experience working with a variety of di�erent textiles and leather- Con�dent using programs such as Photoshop and illustrator- Previous shoemaking or shoe repair experience is not required although is de�nitely a bonus!- Currently in- school of has education in Fashion design, sewing or pattern making
