Streamline moderne style developed which was
influenced by modern aerodynamic designs.
Aerodynamic principles were adopted for ArtDeco applying streamline techniques to cars .
Streamlining influenced American &Europeanautomobile design and changed appearance fromrectangular:horseless carriages into sleek
vehicles with sweeping lines ,symmetry-shapeswhich added to speed and efficiency.
Vehicles had Art Deco :speed-lines for chrome
grilles.
These streamlined forms began to be used fordesign of mundane and static objects such as
pencil sharpeners ,refrigerators, gas pumps, furniture, lamps, jewellery ,watches, etc.
