Exploration Overview The Kitikmeot region of Nunavut is ~450,000 km2, or 90%

as large as Yukon Inuit have surface and sub-surface rights to 11,509 km2

of Inuit Owned Lands (IOL), and have partnered with HTX Minerals to explore this highly prospective region.

Strategic AllianceHTX Minerals has a 5-year strategic alliance (2012-2017) with Nunavut Resources Corp. for project generation and mineral exploration in the Kitikmeot Region of the Territory of Nunavut.

$18 million is to be raised and invested in exploration by NRC, with the focus being on Inuit Owned Lands (IOL), which encompass over 11,000 km2. NRC has provided $1M in seed capital to launch this exploration initiative.

• Property: 572 km2 property was granted to Nunavut as part of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement (1993/1999).

• Location: 360km NE of Yellowknife. 55 km north of Ekati and Diavik diamond mines and 50 km SE of past producing Jericho diamond mine, in the Slave Diamond District

• Highlights: Two diamond-bearing kimberlites, DIA-1 and LI 201, lie outside the Article 41 Lands, but bracket the southern part of the land package, and warrant additional exploration on the property. Very little past exploration on Article 41 Lands

• 2012 Exploration:– Glacial till sampling survey over a ~150 km2 area. – 322 samples being processed now (expected completion

March 1st) to identify Kimberlite Indicator Minerals– Currently sourcing data from 1993 airborne geophysical

survey that covers the Article 41 Lands. • Next Steps: Re-interpretation of 1993 airborne geophysics.

Nearby Diamondiferous Kimberlites

LI 201 diamondiferous kimberlite •Located ~1 km west of the southern part of the western land package of the Article 41 Land, and is still being evaluated (Anglo Swiss Resources)•1992 – 1997: Till sampling, airborne and ground geophysical surveys outlined 39 kimberlite targets. Three (of 20) drill holes tested LI 201 (Kennecott): 14 macrodiamonds and 46 microdiamonds were recovered from a 281 kg bulk sample of drill core. •2006-2007: Airborne and surface geophysics targets; geophysical interpretation covering the LI 201 kimberlite suggests the main part of the pipe may not have been tested (Anglo Swiss); five drill holes totaling 421.6 m were completed on LI 201 and two holes intersected 20.25 m and 14.75 m respectively.•Analysis by C.F.
