HAHA! However the support I’ve received from friends and fans has been immense therefore I’m grateful to them for always being optimistic about me being the future success which I am now.” Do you prefer performing at small or large gigs? “Out of preference it has to be small, there just seems to be an exceptional atmosphere which a larger gig cannot beat even though I love every minute of them too, however at smaller gigs everyone looks as if they are enjoying themselves more, there’s also more attention given to us (the performers) on stage.” What is the one thing you would love to do if given the chance? “Hmm that’s a hard one, I really want to meet all the artists and bands that have inspired me to carry on my path to gaining a music career such as Nine inch nails and Depeche Mode just them being around has helped me realise it was a dream that can be achieved unlike many other dreams, yet I’d also love to go sky diving I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie you see.” Do you wish to have the same affect on individual as your inspirations have had on you? “YES! Of course to be able to know I’ve helped someone else’s dreams come true would be an achievement on it’s own, I hope I do once more people notice me for example I’m still holding down a part-time job, in UNI studying more on the studio technology behind music and have my own solo career, in a band and helping with another band, so busy life I guess but I’ll do anything to be the best of the best I’m no quitter!.” How hard has life been for you to get where you are now? “Extremely, trying to gain success in the music industry is one of the hardest career choices possible the graft the individual has to put in is limitless, getting this far has been a huge strain on my life and I’m still not at the top one day I will be. I had a moderate childhood and brought up by a single parent, I’ve been lucky enough to always have support in any career choice I made that gave me the opportunity to try new jobs such as the dreaded office work, but you have to start somewhere for money. I’ve always had the ambition to get to where I am even though its took so long.”

The life of Robert Baldwin

An insight into the striving musician’s life through his talented compositions and extraordinary

experimental sounds.

Since Robert was a young child he’d always been interested in creating his own sounds and rhythms

which was always the start of his long journey into the music industry now officially a specialist in

sound design, production and composition. Here’s the first and only interview of Robert Baldwin

since his ascent to fame.

Who was you main support to get you where you are now?

“Cheesy as it sounds but my mum; she’s been my rock and supported me through every obstacle I’ve

faced without her I’d still be in the depressing office jobs. HAHA! However the support I’ve received

from friends and fans has been immense therefore I’m grateful to them for always being optimistic

about me being the future success which I am now.”

Do you prefer performing at small or large gigs?

“Out of preference it has to be small, there just seems to be an exceptional atmosphere which a

larger gig cannot beat even though I love every minute of them too, however at smaller gigs

everyone looks as if they are enjoying themselves more, there’s also more attention given to us (the

performers) on stage.”

What is the one thing you would love to do if given the chance?

“Hmm that’s a hard one, I really want to meet all the artists and bands that have inspired me to

carry on my path to gaining a music career such as Nine inch nails and Depeche Mode just them

being around has helped me realise it was a dream that can be achieved unlike many other dreams,

yet I’d also love to go sky diving I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie you see.”

Do you wish to have the same affect on individual as your inspirations have had on you?

“YES! Of course to be able to know I’ve helped someone else’s dreams come true would be an

achievement on it’s own, I hope I do once more people notice me for example I’m still holding down

a part-time job, in UNI studying more on the studio technology behind music and have my own solo

career, in a band and helping with another band, so busy life I guess but I’ll do anything to be the

best of the best I’m no quitter!.”

How hard has life been for you to get where you are now?

“Extremely, trying to gain success in the music industry is one of the hardest career choices possible

the graft the individual has to put in is limitless, getting this far has been a huge strain on my life and

I’m still not at the top one day I will be. I had a moderate childhood and brought up by a single

parent, I’ve been lucky enough to always have support in any career choice I made that gave me the

opportunity to try new jobs such as the dreaded office work, but you have to start somewhere for

money. I’ve always had the ambition to get to where I am even though its took so long.”

How many times have you felt like you cannot achieve your dreams?

“NEVER! I’m an optimist if I believe that I can achieve something I will achieve it, I try not to let

anyone get me down, what’s the point? You see I was brought up with faith as I was let down as a

child by one of the people that are meant to stand by you no matter what. Sounds strange but that’s

what gave me more confidence in myself as I know I can get through anything if I try hard enough, I

will be a huge success in the music industry as I know for sure I can push myself to the limit.”

That was Robert Baldwin’s first interview lets hope he inspires you all, recently he’s increased his

game by gaining acknowledgment in many places such as creating the background music for small

films and videos.

Robert has an enriching personality all his music production started around the age of 12 years old

where he learned to play the guitar; this is where his ambition to be an artist started. Gradually he

has built up a noticeable career and gained many fans. In the music industry he is still a relatively

new artist and we are looking forward to what his future brings, hopefully a lot of success.
