Eye Institute Needs Diagnostic EquipmentThe Robert Sinskey Eye Institute is on  pace to treat over 12,000 Ethiopians in 2011. The increased patient volume, however, requires replacement of some old and/or non‐functioning equipment. A complete list of needed equipment can be found at www.eyedonate.org.

Foundation Added to Nation’s  Largest Donor Payroll Deduction ListFederal employees, including military personnel, can now donate to the ASCRS Foundation using payroll deduction. The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the only donor payroll deduction plan for federal employees.

Foundation Added to Nation’s  Largest Donor Continued…2.8 million* federal employees participate in “Open Season” beginning September 1, each year and may choose to donate to a CFC‐listed charity. The ASCRS Foundation has qualified for the largest designation –National/International.

$40,000 Raised at ASCRS 2011 meeting forJapan Earthquake & Tsunami Relief Fund

ASCRS and ASOA members, staff, vendors and exhibitors and their staffcontributed $40,000 during the ASCRS*ASOA 2011 annual meeting held in March in San Diego.
